The regimes in Egypt and Sudan have been sponsoring projects to destabilize Ethiopia , a Human Right and Federalism Instructor said.

The Human Rights and Federalism Instructor Sisay Mengistie (Ph.D) told the Ethiopian Press Agency (EPA) that Ethiopia’s foes at home and abroad are now carrying out destructive acts to hinder Ethiopia from being an influential East African state through well exploiting its natural and manmade resources, fostering its time-tested diplomacy and employing all human and material resources at hand.

Citing Egypt’s and Sudan’s conspiracies since long back to be stumbling blocks for Ethiopia not to develop the Abay River, Sisay said that they have stood in an organized manner via supporting ethnic and religious fundamentalists fearing that Ethiopia will be an influential country not only in East Africa but also globally.
